My return from the dead apparently...
Soooooo life... yeah.  Not very exciting right now, except it is!  Cass and I just signed a lease on a great little apartment for the summer and next year.  I am super-psyched!  It has pretty even and big bedrooms and a kitchen!  I am such a girl.  One month was free too, so we are getting the upgrades that you can get so everything is very new and nice.  Hopefully in about 2 months I will finally be getting a car so that is great.  Now I just have to register for some classes and get research lined up and I am set for the next year, hoping that all my classes finish well this semester.
Friday is a mystery dinner at my church so I am very excited about that.  It was sooo much fun last year.  It is kinda like a whodunnit so everyone is a character and gets to dress up and stuff.  Secretly way down inside, I wish I had the talent and looks to act cause I really like it.  I just got elected to church council actually so It is kinda nice finally having a place I can be involved without just sitting in my room all day doing hw.
This summer promises to be exciting.  Got 2 weddings to go this year, but they are both robert's deal.  He is gonna be a groomsman in two different weddings!  Geez boy, stop being so well liked.  Both are in San Antonio, but I plan to be in Austin so that aint a long haul.  Other than that it is school and crap like that.  Cass may be getting a dog.  That would be really cool.  It seems like everyone will be spread out in different places this summer, but at least I will finally have a car, so maybe I can go visit or something.
I am totally starting to freak out that I am kinda getting close to entering the "real world" where I have my own place and get a job and contribute to society.  I mean I am looking at graduating in a year and I really have no idea what to do with my life.  Pretty scary stuff.  I dont even know where I will be living or anything like that.  Maybe I will be in Alaska or something.  Who knows?  SCARY!  Oh well.  I guess everyone reaches that point sometime in their life.  I guess I just thought I would be more prepared.

Hope life has been and keeps treating everyone well!

Man, I lose track of this thing.  Life is same ol' same ol'.  Last weekend was my church's winter retreat, which was super fun.  It was in a beautiful isolated area so we pretty much had the whole place to ourselves. There was tons of rock throwing, nature hiking, and card playing.  The past week was crappy.  I hate O. chem lab with a passion.  My TA is not too awesome for that class.  This past weekend was fun.  My sister loaned me her car on Saturday and Robert and I went shopping at the mall and then got all dressed up and went out to dinner.  Saturday was mucho fun.  Right now I should be doing homework though.  That is not so cool.  This week I have exams in all of my classes, 2 on Tues, 2 on Thurs.  Agony!  Not to mention lots of lab work and trying to find an apartment for next year.  Hopefully everything works out.  This semester still seems pretty young, but I am really starting to feel the stress.
Well that about sums up life... Sorry I have no interesting stories or thoughts to speak of.  Life is dull.  Hope everyone has a great Valentines day!

Back at school.  It will be an interesting semester.  Immunology looks crazy boring.  O chem II  I have the same professor.  He is a good teacher, but kinda boring and very hard.  My boring classes are in the morning and my interesting ones are at night.  My new year's resolution is to read like the dickens for all my classes and get good grades.  I need a great semester after last one.
Other stuff going on...  LIfe is going well right now.  I am trying to find some research to get into.  One of my profs seems really awesome and he has a lab so I might see if I can get involved in that.  Texas won the rosebowl of course.  That is about it.  Once school starts... no life.  Hope everyone elses semesters are starting off with a bang.  Peace.

Long time no update... What can I say, life is busy.  What has happened in the past month?  I have no idea... it is all a blur.  I can only remember basically from Thanksgiving so you will have to deal with that.  Thanksgiving was great.  I went down to my grandparents house in south texas for a couple days with my whole family and I dragged poor Robert along as well.  That was so fun.  It was nice to be out in the country.  We worked outside in the morning, ate a lot of food, and played games later on in the day.  On friday we made the grueling car trip back to gvc listening to the UT victory over A&M on the radio.  My time at home was very short and I didnt get half as much as I had planned to done.  Hopefully Christmas will be adequately long enough to get a lot done and see a bunch of people, and have some free time to spare.
This brings me to my next topic, Christmas!  Man, what a great season.  It is starting to freak me out that it is just around the corner.  I think I would be able to see it on the horizon if it wasnt for this evil brick wall in my way called exams.  I have everyone's presents now except my mom's, but I know exactly what to get her, I just need a car to go get it.  Now comes the stress of hoping everyone likes their presents.  That isn't too big a worry though, cause who doesnt like free stuff, no matter what it is, right...?
Now to the most recent of occurences... so Austin has been hotter than hot since March right?  Well now it is stinking 24 with a windchill of 14 Farenheit.... not Celcius.  Isnt that insane?  I know it is nothing to what the north is feeling, but a lto of the people here in texas dont even know that temperature can even occur in nature... they think it can only be produced by freezers or scientists.  Ha, anyhow... my classes were cancelled today.  Everyone is thinking, "wow that is awesome, I am so jealous... I want my classes cancelled too."  Well, no... no you dont.  I shouldnt say my classes were cancelled, I should say they were POSTPONED.  My huge cell test (boy I hate that class) is now scheduled for next Tuesday.  Tuesday was supposed to be a dead day, but now I have a test and an O chem lecture.  Course... the o chem FINAL is on Wednesday.  So basically instead of having tests wed-sat of next week I now have one fewer dead day and tests tues-sat of next week.  Huge bummer.  Ok, rant over.  On the plus side... I LOVE cold weather.  On the minus side, I have very few articles of clothing that can protect me against the dumb windchill.  I guess I will be wearing my ACA-DEC hoodie till I go home.
16 and a half days till Christmas!!!

Good luck on finals!

Yep, still busy like every other college student out there.  Got 2 big tests this week, one tomorrow, one thursday.  I am taking a quick study break to clear my thoughts.  I was thinking I was gonna get to go home next weekend... come to find out I have to go into lab on Saturday to run tests and crap for some pathogenic bacteria.  Exciting stuff.  I am looking forward to thanksgiving break, however short it may be.
I didnt really do much for halloween, that was sad.  I kinda want to dress up or something, I think that would be fun.  Maybe next year.  Cass and I watched scary movies instead that weren't so scary... just messed up.  I have played my trumpet at my church the past two weeks so that has been kinda neat.  Too bad I am really not too great at it, but I did better than I thought I would having had no practice on it since may of 2004.  Wow, that seems like ages ago, but it has only been a year and a half.
So I am gonna be home for thanksgiving break friday afternoon-sunday afternoon.  I wish I had longer, but I guess that is what Christmas is for.  Oh man, I am SOOOOO lookinf forward to Christmas.  Christmas rocks.  A month break without having to get a job, even though I need one.  Cold weather, pretty lights, awesome songs, hanging with friends and family.  I love Christmas.  I already got half my Christmas shopping done.  I want to be done with it early this year since UT gets out so late.  Blah.  Well, back to the homeworking I guess.  I am so sick of school.

Happy Holidays!
